Slanks are a species of predator from the dying Earth.
Description[]
Slanks are gracile, mammalian creatures, reaching 4m long but only massing up to 80kg. They have no tail, and blotchy brown fur.
On their hands and feet, all digits have fused into a spike-like claw. This is useful for getting a grip on rocks and the flora of the area, as well as being a lethal weapon. Also notable are the spinnerets on the Slank's forearms, used to produce long lines of silk that allow them to swing from crag to crag or spiketree to spiketree.
The Slank is extremely fast, reaching 50mph on open ground. It will rush its prey, or leap onto it, and then tear it apart with its limbs.
